| At Wide
Angle our single-minded aim is to bring higher production values to
corporate video.
Our starting
point - always - is the belief that nobody actually wants to watch a
corporate video and unless we reach out and grab them in the first
few seconds - and never let go - we will have failed.
Too many
corporate productions fall into one of two traps. They're either
top-heavy with information (better-suited to a brochure or
Powerpoint presentation). Or they suffer from an overdose of
corporate chest-beating. The very worst offenders blunder into both
traps. And both are unwatchable.
We never forget
that we're in the business of film-making and the audience's
expectations don't change just because the film is about a
business.
Engagement,
entertainment, empathy - are as relevant to corporate video as they
are to any other category of production.
So how do we do
it?
A word about
the company's origins is relevant here: Wide Angle's roots lie in
the advertising industry and our approach to corporate video owes
much to this: A strong central concept, powerful but economical
script-writing and a determination to make every shot
count.
Outstanding
photography and imaginative editing are the hallmark of all our
productions.
Our biggest
buzz comes from 'giving companies back to themselves' - showing our
clients a vision of how good they really are at what they
do. |
