Wide Angle grew out of an advertising agency and its key members have accumulated a lot of experience in writing and creating commercials for a wide range of clients.

For many years, TV commercial production in the UK has been outrageously expensive which has had two effects.

First, it has prevented many 'first-time' TV advertisers from doing so, since the cost of production can sometimes be greater than many of the cheaper airtime packages now available.

Second, it has prevented many existing TV advertisers from supporting as many products on TV as they would ideally like.

Our productions costs tend to be more modest than the 'purist' TV commercial production companies. This is largely because we make no distinction between one kind of production and another, so we apply the same rates as we would to a corporate video or documentary.

Conventionally, clients appoint an agency to create their TV advertising who, in turn, contract TV commercial production to outside suppliers.

This is conventional, but costly.

We are able to provide a more focused service that will start with your brief, includes development of the TV idea, script and storyboard and follows through into final production.

We manage every step of the process, just as an advertising agency would and take care of all the paperwork: broadcast clearance through Clearcast, supply to stations - and so on.

This means you are only paying for the creative work you need, when you need it.
