When Club 18-30 approached us they had endured a year of bad publicity, largely fuelled by a TV documentary which - as is so often the way - focused only on the excesses of a minority.

They wanted a video to run on their website that would be a more accurate representation of what Club 18-30 was all about.

We shot for one week in Ibiza and one week in Cyprus. While this may sound like everyone's idea of a cushy number, it was a pretty gruelling shoot: our crew of four were up with the dawn to shoot early scenes, shooting all day then shooting in the clubs at night.

We ended up with around 15 hours of terrific material that was then cut into several lengths from 30 seconds up to five minutes, overlaid with special effects in post production.

Putting propaganda aside - and not just because they paid us money - we were impressed with the whole Club18-30 operation, which works hard to provide a really memorable holiday experience.

And we didn't see a single instance of projectile vomiting.
